The United States of America's self titled album (the only in their discography) was released in 1968, and later re released in 2004 on c.d including unreleased demos, outtakes, and alternate takes. The band was known for their lack of a guitarist, and heavy use of electronics, and have been cited by Broadcast, a psychedelic electronic band from the U.K. as a major influence. This is an essential album for fans of psychedelic, electronic, avant-garde, and political music.
